I’ve heard about this place for years from my gardening friends, but did not make it out there until this weekend. Mr. Gossler is absolutely delightful, clearly a plant enthusiast who loves sharing his knowledge. Interesting selection of plants with excellent prices.

An amazing selection of plants including unique hellebores and camellias. Roger is very knowledgeable!

Roger has great trees at affordable prices. I’ve ordered online many times this year from Gossler and have yet to be disappointed in the quality. There were a few mix ups where the wrong tree was sent but the fact that Roger will send you pictures of the trees ahead of time helps to decide if you want it or not. With so many other nurseries sending low quality trees it’s nice to see large 1g trees being sold. The packaging did the trees is one of the best in the industry.

In April 2023 I ordered (and planted) a 1 gallon Jane Platt Star Magnolia from this nursery. Last season I was so excited that “the stick” had 6 blossoms (pretty pink pom poms). Well I am even more excited this year. We have at least 30 beautiful blossoms. I plan on ordering 1 (maybe) two plants again this year. So very very happy.

What an outstanding resource! We found rare things, including O’Byrnes hellebores, a hard-to-find camellia and even had a glance at a vanishingly-rare edgeworthia. Still, it was a singularly suprising, outstanding nursery with robust plants and the owner was about and once we saw how many plants he had, we’d ask him for things off our wishlist (we’d come just for hellebore). And sure enough- he had it all. A “do not miss” nursery and gorgeous garden!
